What types of documents do we accept for identity verification?

At MAJORITY, we accept various types of documents for identity verification depending on your country of origin. Below are the accepted documents:

  1. U.S. Driver’s Licenses
If you reside in the U.S. and have a valid driver’s license, you can use it for identity verification.

  2. Passports from Multiple Nationalities
We accept passports from many countries worldwide. If you have a valid passport, this is a secure option to confirm your identity.

  3. National IDs
For certain countries, we also accept national identity cards. These documents must be valid and legible.

  4. For Venezuelan Citizens: Prórroga del Pasaporte
If you are Venezuelan and have a passport extension (prórroga), we accept it as a valid document. Make sure it's within the valid extension period.

Go back to the registration process, select your country in the verification menu and you’ll see a list of accepted documents based on your nationality.

Once you’ve selected the type of document you wish to use, follow the instructions to upload the image of the document.

Tips for successfully uploading documents:

It's essential that the image of your document meets the following criteria:

  • Clarity: Ensure the image is not blurry. Text and photos must be sharp and clear.

  • No glare: Avoid any light glare in the photo. If needed, take the photo in a well-lit area with natural lighting.

  • No photocopies: We do not accept photocopied or scanned documents.

  • All edges visible: Make sure all four corners of the document are visible in the image.
