Providing Your SSN or ITIN for Verification

As part of the MAJORITY account setup process, we ask for your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to verify your identity, if you have one. This step helps keep your account secure and complies with U.S. regulations.

Why Do We Need Your SSN or ITIN?

Providing your SSN or ITIN is legally required for identity verification purposes. It helps prevent fraud and identity theft, and ensures that your account is compliant with U.S. financial regulations.

What If You Don’t Have an SSN or ITIN?

  • No SSN/ITIN? No Problem!
    If you don’t have an SSN or ITIN, you can still proceed by selecting the (I don’t have one) option. We will guide you through the next steps to continue with the verification process.

  • Alternative Documents:
    In cases where an SSN/ITIN isn’t available, we may require alternative forms of identification. We’ll walk you through any additional documents or information needed to verify your identity.
