If your recipient is receiving money from abroad for the first time:
They must complete a government-required form called the Declaración de Pago (also known as Declaración de Poder). This confirms their identity and authorizes international transfers to their account.
To activate international transfers in Bancolombia, your recipient must:
Go to bancolombia.com.
Click on Sucursal Virtual Personas and log in.
In the main menu, select:
Transfers > International > ReceiveClick Activate automatic deposit.
Complete the form, verify the information, and confirm.
💡 Tip: Your recipient only needs to do this once. After activation, all future transfers from MAJORITY should be processed without delays.
