MAJORITY Proudly Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month
MAJORITY enthusiastically celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month, coinciding with the independence festivities of several Central American countries and Mexico. With special events and vibrant activities, we came together to honor and celebrate the rich Latino culture.
A Limited Edition T-shirt: "Latino Power"
To commemorate this special month, we launched a limited edition t-shirt called "Latino Power," which became a symbol of pride for the Latino community. Many received their fantastic t-shirts!
Celebrations and Activities Across the Country
Throughout the month, we participated in various activities and events across the country to honor Latino culture. One of the highlights was the Hispanic Heritage Parade in New York, a moment filled with color, music, and tradition that gave us a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community. Seeing the joy and pride of so many people was an incredible experience!
Nicaraguan Heritage Night
Another great moment this month was the celebration of Nicaraguan Heritage at LoanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins. With more than 15,000 attendees, the festive atmosphere was electrifying. Many fans wore Nicaraguan heritage t-shirts, filled the stadium, and enjoyed the exciting game between the Marlins and the Philadelphia Phillies.
The celebration continued after the game with an incredible concert by Nicaraguan artist Luis Enrique, who put on a spectacular show and created unforgettable moments for the community.
Honduran Independence Celebration
The Honduran Independence celebration at José Martí Park was also an event full of energy and national pride. The community came together to pay tribute to their rich cultural heritage, enjoying music, dances, and delicious Honduran food. It was an afternoon full of joy, where families and friends shared memories and reaffirmed their sense of belonging and unity.
The Cry of Independence of Mexico
In addition to the Central American celebrations, MAJORITY had the honor of supporting the event for Mexico’s Cry of Independence, organized by the Mexican Consulate at the MDC Kendall Campus. More than 3,500 people gathered to enjoy Mexican traditions, from the famous "Grito" ceremony to the melodies of mariachis that filled the air. The Mexican talents participating in the event added a special touch, making it a unique and emotional celebration.
Long Live Independence and Latino Heritage!
At MAJORITY, every celebration is an opportunity to build bridges between cultures and communities. We are deeply grateful for every shared moment and all the stories we’ve heard. For us, the independence of these countries is not only commemorated on specific dates, but also in the love and unity we share in every encounter.
As we continue on this journey, we reaffirm our commitment to always being present at the celebrations that define the identities and strengthen the roots of Latino immigrants in this country. We also do this through our financial services, providing tools like our debit card and money transfers so our members can stay connected with their loved ones, both here and in their home countries.
Together, we continue celebrating the diversity and cultural richness of our Latino communities in every corner of Miami and beyond! Long live independence and Latino heritage!
