Changes to swipe deposits have started

If you use the barcode scan method to add cash to your MAJORITY account—nothing has changed. This is still the easiest, fastest, and most reliable way to deposit cash.

Here’s what’s changed

- Some stores no longer support swipe deposits.

- For all swipe deposits, the fee is now deducted directly from your MAJORITY account instead of being charged at the register.

Swipe is still accepted at:

- 7-Eleven

- Walgreens

- Family Dollar

- Dollar General

All other stores now support scan only.

What we recommend:
Use the barcode scan option in your app for the smoothest experience. You’ll avoid issues and know your deposit will go through without a problem.

Eligibility requirements apply, including but not limited to income and expense requirements, keeping your MAJORITY account in good standing, and establishing a security deposit account.


*Boost amount (i.e., the amount of the credit line increase) is up to 5% of the monthly on-time payment of at least the minimum payment due and is subject to other terms and conditions, including but not limited to an ability to repay check and a monthly cap in the credit card agreement.

The impact of payment history on credit bureau scoring models will vary. Making on-time payments may help to build a credit profile for consumers without existing debt.
