How does early direct deposit work?
With MAJORITY direct deposit, your paycheck will go straight into your MAJORITY account.
In other words, you get access to your money as soon as your employer deposits it, which means you can get your paycheck up to two days earlier.*
Most employers deposit paychecks in their employees’ accounts around two days in advance. However, banks often hold the money while they wait for the checks to clear.
But, we trust you and your employer, which is why we make the money available to you right away.
*This depends on your payer’s support of this feature and the timing of your payer’s payment instructions.
Set up early direct deposit
It's easy to set up direct deposit with your MAJORITY account!
There are 3 different options to set up your direct deposit:
Option 1: Connect to your employer or payroll provider
1. Open the MAJORITY app and go to Wallet > Add Money or Primary Account > Direct Deposit.
2. Tap Get started when prompted about getting paid up to 2 days early.
3. Tap Find your employer and search for your employer's name.
4. If your employer isn't listed, tap Search Payroll providers and find yours.
5. Log in to your employer or payroll provider account, verify the details, and tap Confirm.
6. Done! Your direct deposit will be set up within 1–2 payroll cycles.
Note: If you can’t find your employer or provider, tap Use a Form Instead to try another method.
Option 2: Manual setup with bank details
1. Open the MAJORITY app and go to Wallet > Add Money or Primary Account > Direct Deposit.
2. Tap Get started when prompted about getting paid up to 2 days early.
3. Copy the bank name, account number, and routing number under Manual setup.
4. Enter this information into your employer's payroll system or app.
Option 3: Use a direct deposit form
1. Open the MAJORITY app and go to Wallet > Add Money or Primary Account > Direct Deposit.
2. Tap Get started when prompted about getting paid up to 2 days early.
3. Tap Create a Form.
4. Enter your employer's name and tap Continue.
5. Fill in your full name and tap Continue.
6. Select your signature type and tap Continue.
7. Your form will be generated. Tap Download to save or send it to your employer.
8. Done! Close the window and return to your Wallet.
